Exxon Mobil is making a Texas-sized move to The Woodlands, Texas. Over 385 acres of land just south of The Woodlands, located next to Interstate 45 and the Hardy Toll Road, by the border of Harris and Montgomery Counties. Construction will begin in early 2014 and should be finished in 2015. The new building will be a massive 3 million square feet, consisting of 20 low-rise office buildings, a wellness center, a laboratory, multiple parking garages, a training center, conference rooms, and child care facilities. Along with this new move, there will be many new residents to The Woodlands. Thousands will relocate to the new Woodland’s Facility.
